Has anyone actually sent one.

As with any Neighbours cast member, you can write to Pippa Black via FremantleMedia using the address below.

Pippa has had two different fan cards during her time on Neighbours. The first sees her in an orange and white striped top set against a white background. It was issued around the time of Pippa's arrival in Ramsay Street in 2005. The second sees Pippa in a pink and orange dress against a dark orange background (and is accompanied by an updated Ten and Neighbours logo. This card was first issued in 2008.

The general recommendations for contacting any Neighbours cast member is to create a clear and concise message and state prominently that you would like a fan card.

There are no grantees that a response will be given. Response times tend to vary, though the high work load of each cast member means it can take weeks for the return letter to arrive.

Fan cards may also not be signed (though in many cases you tend to stand a better chance of receiving a autographed fan card by writing to a single cast member).

Costs to send mail to Australian for international fans will vary (in the UK for example it's likely to be in the region of 54p or more to send a small letter).

I haven't however it's a pretty established method (so plenty of Neighbours Fans have done it and gotten fan cards / autographs from Neighbours stars like Pippa Black).

Quite a while back (when the BBC still had their Neighbours site) there was an email address which people picked up on that you could send a message requesting a fan card too (though it closed down pretty quickly). I did that and got a Toadie, Susan and Lou fan card.

To be honest I would recommend trying to send a message if possible. The general suggestion is that the Neighbours cast do like receiving letters from fans (and in many cases will write a note back).

Perhaps someone (or a few people) could volunteer to try writing a letter to Pippa and posting how they got on?

I will try but I've got to get the right stamps for it to get to Ausralia.
Do they write back as in they wrote it themselves.

I think they should do. It's possible they may just choose to send the fan cards instead (and bear in mind that it's also possible for fan cards to be sent which don't include autographs) or even just send out a standard pre printed reply (depending on the level of fan mail they recieve it might not be possible to individually reply to all letters).

Unfortunately I think the only way to know for sure is to just send a letter off and wait to see what happens.

There are a few other bits of information about sending fan mail to Neighbours cast members which might help. The quote below contains a rough suggestion for what to include in a letter (if you're struggling over what to write).

QUOTE
- Introducing yourself to the actor
- Mentioning a favourite scene/episode/storyline you’ve enjoyed of theirs
- Why you like their character/them so much
- Asking nicely for an autographed fan card

I sent her a letter last year & she sent me a signed fan card with my name on it! It said 'all the best kim!' It was quite quick too! I thought it was really nice of her to do that!

Hi

I'm new to the forum and was just wondering how I would go about sending letters to Pippa and other cast members from the UK?

Do I just take the letter to the post office and get it weighed for stamps?

Thanks for your help smile.gif

Yes. Take it to the post office they will weigh it. Mine cost 56p. Then they will send it off.

On Monday I received a signed and unsigned fancard of Pippa, along with a signed and unsigned of Declan, signed of Paul, Ty and Rebecca by writing to the Neighbours helpdesk.

I've also written to Pippa to try and get a personalized on from her... smile.gif

Speaking of which, here's a scan of my old Pippa fancard...

Great fancard
